Nice coffee with decent ambiance. Quick service. I need to try some more different coffee from there. Apart from coffee sandwiches and Coffee with sandwiches is avaiable.
Quite easily the best coffee I've ever had! The flat white and caramel macchiato are just simply amazing:-) great menu for the coffee lovers! Also great for some snacks, sandwiches and juices. The same price as all coffee shops but just miles ahead of the rest to be quite honest! Serious love goes into the coffee! Probably the best in Dublin...
All the caffeine. Good spot to refuel with an eye and mouth watering selection of baked treats. They sell a range of individual chocies that are on the expensive side (€1+ a pop). Cute cups too!
Delicious coffee. Friendly staff. Lots of coffee necessities inside for people to stock up on. My favourite place to go for coffee. Plus they make coffee art with the foam in cappuccinos, lattes etc.
Some of the best coffee in Dublin, lovely staff, quite a small place but it's always buzzy and it's really nicely designed. Cakes and pastries are a bit expensive and it's not the kind of place you can chill out in for an hour (I wish it was bigger). But otherwise it's one of my favourite places in Dublin.
Great coffee. Thee staff really know their stuff. The cakes they sell look amazing too. Must stop in for a grizzly coffee soon, apparently it's magic.
This is one of my favourite places to get coffee in Dublin, many times I've justified a visit to Blackrock for one of their gorgeous Americanos. The staff are so friendly, couldn't have asked for better advice when buying one of their bags of coffee. Also their sandwiches, juices (although a tad expensive) and sweet treats are just perfect. 3FE who?!
Probably one of the best coffees I've had in Dublin! Great selection of drinks, not to mention their amazing choice of treats and cakes. Lovely and helpful staff
My favourite coffee shop! Their coffee is lovely :) they do a delicious gluten free brownie but all their baked goods look amazing too. Lovely decor and friendly staff, they could do with more seating!
Bright and buttery black brew with tasty paleo treats, both served with a friendly smile in this little coffee shop. I'd appreciate it even more if it had a bit more seating though!
Really top notch coffee place in my old fav blackrock! Went here today for a coffee and was really impressed! I love the coffee map that explains exactly what each coffee is made of! Opted for a latte this morning and it was gorgeous! Can't wait to return for some of their baked treats which all seem to be paleo too! Also want to try an almond milk blend!
I love it here. There is so much to look at in the store waiting for your coffee. Love the decor, very NYC. I'm relatively new to the coffee scene and I was told I had to try here and it did not disappoint. They also have a few healthy nibbles which look very tempting.
The best coffee not only in dublin but better than I have ever tasted! I couldn't believe gluten free scones and everything was delicious! I ran 11 km to get there and the reward was worth it! Yum!
Easily the best mocha I have had in Dublin so far, triumphs the bigger brands by a mile. Great decor, well trained baristas and a nice selection of organic healthy food. I'm a huge fan of this place
Freezing cold Sunday afternoon. Blustery out and hands are ice cold. Just want a hot cup of something to warm up. Cosy spot with perfectly balanced cappuccino, loads of healthy / paleo treats to go with your coffee of choice. Stools and benches to perch on while enjoying their wares.

On the main street in Blackrock, next to the entrance to the Blackrock Market you will find Bear Market Coffee. The owners of Bear are Stephen Deasy and Ruth Hussey. They met while studying architecture, after which they decided to change direction, a detour looking into setting up a high end hostel company and they landed with Bear Market Coffee. It started in the market itself and soon moved out to its own premises.
Bear Market Coffee is almost raw in feel, clean wooden furniture and counters, steel and copper fixings and features, exposed white brick walls
I visited for a quick breakfast one Saturday morning recently and enjoyed a very fine flat white and granola bar. It was difficult to choose from the display of scones, breads and cakes…but settled on the granola.
The granola bar was placed on a small sheet of paper on a black slate. Simply effective presentation. The only slightly irksome piece was that the coffee took quite a while. Granted there was a party of 3 people just ahead of me and one person waiting coffee but it seemed to take longer than you would think. However it was worth the wait, a perfect flat white coffee to go with my delicious granola. Just the right amount of crunchy vs. chewy, full of nutty goodness with just enough sweetness.
I sat at the counter area at the window, nice spot to watch the world go by. There’s a few stools around the place but take out seems to be the thing here. the coffee only cups in take out cups even if staying in. They also sell other foodstuffs, which makes a nice display on one of the walls.
I liked Bear Market Coffee, didn’t love it, something lacking for me and I’m not entirely sure what it is…maybe I’ll take out next time as the granola bar was so good! If in Blackrock pay it a visit and see for yourself…
