I am in love with the pistachio icecream here. I tried the shake with the same flavor. It was so so good! Hard to explain . I am a regular visitor here and intending to try more!
Best crepes I've ever had! I was always asking for the one with nutella, banana and strawberry. Huge size, delicious flavour, well served. You also have many ice cream flavours and waffles. The employees are very nice. I was always being served by this Brazilian guy. Very polite and nice. The establishment could have a place where we could sit and enjoy the food, it’s kinda take away style, but it’s great anyway. I totally recommend!
Great ice cream!
Surrounded by flower sellers from Easter Lillie’s to anything you might fancy
Close by to several shops and to Capel Street if in a rush to get a manicure!
The lights on the ceiling and the freezing weather makes the ice cream unforgettable and the beautiful Christmas lights🎄
Missing home ☘️
Delicious crepes! The smell of them when you walk by is amazing. Wish there was a seating area because its kind of awkward to eat one on the busiest street in Dublin. Looking forward to the one on George's Street to be open!
Been here for gelato and waffles ! The gelato is really creamy and super delicious . If you're a big lover of Nutella like I am then you would love their Nutella gelato ! There is the thickest layer of Nutella on the top and it's heaven! There waffles and crepes are pretty scrumptious too and they are made freshly infront of you, so are piping hot when they hand it over to you! Definitely a place to go to satisfy your sweet tooth!
Myself and my work colleges were invited into Ginos on Henry St. to try some of their ice creams. We arrived at about 11 am so a lot of the ice creams were only getting made, but they had a few for us to choose from. I decided to go for the kinder Bueno ice-cream and it was absolutely delicious. It had lovely chunks of kinder Bueno the whole way through it. All of their Ice creams are home made and you can definitely taste the difference from other ice cream shops that I've tried, as it is so much nicer. I also decided to try one of their waffles which was covered in Nutella. This was beautifully fluffy and sweet. However I found it very filling and my eyes were bigger than my belly and I couldn't finish it. The staff couldn't have been better they were so friendly and really went out of their way to help us. Especially a lady called Dina, she was the one who invited us in. I would definitely recommend Ginos as a sweet treat. Also what I didn't know was that they are an Irish company so it's great to see them doing so well!
Top choice for the ice cream. It's definitely made with great ingredients and seems to be very close to the Italian gelato style. I love it. Expect big queue if sunny outside, bit expensive but great ice cream! P.s liked a lot also crepes with Nutella
If it wasn't for the annoying "Heeereee buuuuud" ringing outside from the local junkies every 5 minutes then Gino's might actually fool you into thinking you're in Italy. It appeals to all your senses as you're walking by. The colourful, modern style mixed with the irresistible smell forces you inside, no matter how much willpower you have, you'll eventually get something.
I myself got a Nutella crepe for €4.90, which was fascinating to watch being made from scratch, and was worth the money alone! Although it's awkward to eat with the packaging, this will leave you stuffed, my sister couldn't even finish hers! The creator of this beautiful crepe wasn't scabby with the sugar or the Nutella, once you bite into the hot, melting chocolate you'll be sent straight to heaven, only to be brought back by the fact it's now gone, and you want another one...
So there's not really much to say, Gino's is great at what it does, although I didn't get to try the ice cream I got great first impressions from the crepe and I'll definitely be back to try out other stuff! Nutella lovers should get to this place pronto!
Was looking for a quick snack so we decided to head to ginos! And it did not disappoint. As soon as you walk into the place, instantly you are hit with a delicious smell. I am not a huge fan of ice cream so instead I decided to have a crepe with Nutella and it was unbelievably tasty! The crepe itself was a great size and they were extremely generous with the Nutella.. Once it melted it was almost oozing out of the crepe! The only downside is it is quite awkward and messy to eat but it's worth it!
This is located near to the the Spire on the Henry street and can't be missed.
After a lot of recommendations from some of the folks, couldn't stop myself from visiting this place.
I must say, it was much above my expectations. Once you drop-in you'll feel like eating everything out there. The delicacy with which they make the ice creams is so amazing to watch.
I tried one marshmallow delight which was really awesome, please opt for white chocolate if you chose this. I also had one small tub ice cream but instead in a cone. Don't get deceived here, when they say small, actually it is very large or huge for a single person. After having these two, I was done for my dinner for a while.
Its a great place to try your hands on Ice creams, highly recommended.
