Myself and my girlfriend were in for dinner and drinks last week and we honestly couldn't have had a better experience from the minute we walked in. When ordering out first round the barman Cathal asked me if I'd been in before, when I said we hadn't he told me it was great to have us here. Drinks are very reasonably priced, all pints only a fiver for real craft beer and only 5.50 for a generous glass of house white. Unfortunately didn't get the name of the bar lady/ waitress/ cocktail maker but she took great care of our table, food order taken promptly and friendly. Starters came nice and quickly, wings and crab salad, plenty of wings and plenty of crab meat and both delicious. We weren't waiting long for our mains to arrive, big juicy burger with bacon and cheese on a brioche bun with proper chipper chips in a little brown chipper bag and a big portion of pork belly. Moved onto cocktails soon after which were again delicious and very reasonably priced at only €8. We got a shared dessert platter that was amazing, two mini brownies, two mini donuts topped with jam, two mini cups of apple crumble, two mini cups of cream and two scoops of toffee and coconut ice cream. Kevin the manager came over to check on how everything was have a chat and to ask us what we wanted to drink, on the house! After bringing over the bill, Cathal then brought me over a free Brú tshirt, unbelievably sound! For anyone put off by any of the negative reviews, I really can't recommend Brú enough, food, drink, price, staff, decor everything was perfect. I hadn't a pint there in about 5 years but will definitely be making it my new local.

Can't recommend Bru House enough! I celebrated my 30th birthday there last week and the staff couldn't do enough for us. My Mam organised the party and they were so helpful and accommodating to her. The food was gorgeous and the room upstairs is the perfect size and it's right next to the beer garden. Everybody had a great time! Have been a few times for drinks and food and it's always been lovely. Thanks again!

Fantastic spot to watch the rugby (huge HD screen), friendly knowledgable staff, and the beer selection is too notch. The stout is lovely. Can't recommend Brú House Fairview enough - it's a great asset to the area. I haven't had anything to eat there yet, but I plan to change that soon as the menu looks great.

Great surroundings, lovely staff, delicious food and great beers. Brú has a great choice of drinks like Crabbies ginger beer which is hard to come by when out. Really comfy smoking area upstairs with couches and lots of space. They do great events too like screening the Game of Thrones season 7 premier on a big screen, board games to play at your table. Really recommend here for any event or just a pint after work. Its definitely my regular now.

The American bartender from Connecticut is very nice and pours a great pint of stout. Not a question mentioned about my friend and colleague in his tracksuit bottoms - unlike other bartenders who are stereotypical, and who even on a very hot day, wouldn't service someone in shorts or a tracksuit bottoms! Thanks
