My fanourite coffee shop...I echo everything the other reviewers have said...great food, lovely staff, hospitality second to none. If you go in once, you are remembered the second time - Jonathan has a friendly word for everyone.
I can only go there for breakfast about once a month
..but it never fails to please...best smoked salmon and scrambled eggs ever!

Best cafe in Rathmines, gorgeous food, fab staff and an owner who loves what he does and is a total gentlemen. I popped in here yesterday, had some fantastic grub and great coffee. And then the guys insisted on helping me with my bags over to the taxi rank. A fab place to spend some time.
A little gem facing the Garda station off the bustling main street of Rathmines. This trendy little coffee shop is the ideal spot to relax and unwind whether it's a quick coffee, early breakfast or some seriously delicious lunchtime treats. This little haven won't disapoint with its friendly helpful staff and chilled out music.
We had an absolutely lovely evening at Jonathan's celebrating Thanksgiving with our American students. The food was excellent, the service top notch, Jonathan and co. took such great care of us. I'm lucky enough to live just down the street from Ernesto's so can go back again and again! Anyone in Rathmines - it's a great place to drop in.

My favourite coffee shop in Dublin. Best coffee in town and amazing food. Jonathan, Mika & co are the warmest people you could meet. Every visit is a great experience and according to my 9yr old 'They do the best panini's in the whole world'!
Myself and my daughter visited this lovely cosy and welcoming eatery for the first time today. Staff were really friendly proficient and easy going. We were really impressed with the surroundings and felt comfortable at once. We both had yummy homemade minestrone soup with really tasty artisan sandwiches and a small side salad which far exceeded the normal banal types which are served in most places. In a nutshell the food was healthy and tasty and had extremely fair prices. We will definitely be back and I can't wait to try the gorgeous meringue they had on a very impressive menu.
My mother and myself meet here most mornings for breakfast and just love it. The food, coffee is sooo good! The staff are so nice and helpful. It just terrific to have a great local coffee shop at your doorstep besides Starbucks!

Ernesto's is a great café/restaurant. Welcoming, relaxed, friendly with great tasting, good value food. I recently started working nearby and it has quickly become my favourite place for lunch & coffee .
Great spot, first time to visit and as a coeliac it was amazing to get such a nice GF sandwich! Gorgeous space, staff were really welcoming and good craic, great atmosphere in the place and great prices too, will definitely be back :)
Went here today for brunch for the first time. It's a cute little cafe with a great atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and the food and coffee tasty. I thought it had a bit of a South American vibe with the interiors and music. Couldn't get over how cheap it was; 2 coffees and pancakes and scrambled eggs for less then 14€! Think we have found our new little gem in rathmines! I'll definitely be back soon.

This place is a great new addition to the area. The owner is lovely, very hands on and you can see he really takes pride in his cafe. The decor is wonderful, very clean, relaxed and a little bit fun. They have a great selection of sandwiches, soups and salads, I had the chicken salad which was excellent value, everything in it was super fresh, it was a very generous portion and full of flavour. I will be back again!
Great little coffee shop, good space and great coffee. Got a latte here the other day and loved it. Reasonably priced too. The cakes look amazing too.
