We loved Alfie Byrnes. The staff were very friendly and helpful, also very knowledgeable about the massive selection of beers on tap and never to busy for a quick discussion or to pour a taster. The food was very nice. If you’re in Dublin and a craft beer lover, then I highly recommend this place, even if you don’t like craft beer just pop in to the bar where you’ll be made feel very welcome. Thanks guys...! 👍🏻
Was at an engagement party here on Saturday night and was really impressed by the friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and great selection of finger food.
The staff were very helpful with recommending drinks, as there is so much choice it is hard to make a decision by yourself.
I'd recommend this place to anyone for both food and drinks and I will definitely be returning in the future!
First time to Alfie Byrne's at the weekend for a friends engagement party and it was a very good experience.
The food that was offered was delicious, think finger food but a hundred times better.
The drinks were reasonable for that part of the city too which is always a bonus for a Saturday night.
Bar staff were attentive to who was in the queue first, first come first serve. It's so nice because sometimes you have people shoving past you trying to grab the attention of the staff.
Overall, if this was a Leaving Cert result I'd give it an A1 for awesome.
