I'm italian and pizza is one of the dishes I miss the most from my home country. Since I am in Dublin I eat pizza every now and then due to high price in most of the Italian restaurants. I've heard about Sano pizza recently and I wanted to try it. I went yesterday with my flatmates and the first impression we had when we came in was "wow nice style this place!". We got a vegetarian, a sapori del sud and a speciale with gorgonzola. The menu has a good number of options between pizzas, drinks and sweets. Not many sides. Be aware that 2 special pizzas are written on the blackboard and there is no mention at all on the menu (just a little suggestion to the owners... Add a mention about the special of the day at the end of the list!). We got our drinks in 5min and the pizza in 20min. Service was very fast. The pizzas were well made, thin in the center with a nice well baked crust. The best in my opinion was the gorgonzola one. But all of them were good. The ingredients are of good quality and real italian ones. I went downstairs and some of the tomato cans and flour bags were still sitting around and were all from Italy. In the end the bill was easy to digest as was the pizza. The price is very affordable compared with the competitors. A Margherita here is 6euros while in other Italian restaurants is 10 euros. Overall I totally recommend this place. You will not be disappointed. I will eat pizza here again for sure very soon.
No other pizza that I've ever tried in Dublin has ever reminded me of my home town as the Margherita I had in Sanopizza. These guys are sticking to the traditional concept of Neapolitan pizza as none else in town (and probably in Ireland). Expert pizza chefs, affordable price, an excellent and well maintained oven, first quality ingredients and a very kind staff make this place an absolute must for all the real pizza lovers. 5 stars and compliments from just a normal guy born and grown in Naples old town - you made me feel at home!
After having eaten in the restaurant a couple of times, I have tried the delivery via deliveroo last Sunday (very busy I suppose).
They didn't disappoint me also this time, the pizzas arrived perfectly on time, still very hot and qualitative amazing as always.
The price for delivery is just 1 euro extra per pizza (don't know if deliveroo increased that o Sano did) but anyway for 9 pizzas I have spent 82 euro which is unbelievable in Dublin.
Very impressed on my recent visit to Sano.. Great pizza, great wine, friendly staff. Loved the Nutella pizza for dessert.
Great pizza highly recommend this place I’ll be back soon!!

Love Sano and their pizza.
One small thing, the calzone is not that great, compared to the pizzas.

Got to try Pizza in Naples last week. The Pizza in Sano is just as good. I got five pizzas to bring back home for my family to taste. 42 Euro for five pizzas! Great value for great pizza. I will definitely be returning.
