Best sandwich ever (pear bacon and cheddar cheese )proper doorstep!!! Bakewell slice delicious and rhubarb and vanilla lemonade fab definitely worth a wee visit. Staff lovely very busy wee place set in lovely surroundings.
Great food, super cute setting, friendly staff, delicious desserts and nice pot of tea at the end, highly recommend it :)
My family and I visited last December. We were just looking to warm up with some tea after having coming in from a wet and chilly walk. The scones and jam looked too good to pass up, so we sat down and enjoyed one of our favorite food experiences of the entire trip through England and Ireland. The flavor of the wild mushroom soup with pumpkin seeds is still very vivid in my mind.
We returned a few more times and bought some raspberry jam to take home, alas, the jars were confiscated by Customs.
Wonderful restaurant with lovely staff. Good impeccable. Highly recommend.
I had the bacon, pear and arugula sandwich on white bread absolutely delicious great coffee and very friendly staff loved it

Forgot an Iphone there and the team has kept it, thank you so much. Incredible place to eat delicious scones!
Wonderful ambience, great service and delicious food. Not your run-of-the-mill brunch spot!!
Food is amazing, service is excellent. Good coffee and relaxed atmosphere.
This is a public service announcement! If you haven't experienced The Pepperpot yet, then make it your mission to go!!! It ticks all the boxes and then some
The atmosphere is very cozy and nice and the food tasted soooo good. I totally recommend it :)
Food and coffee is amazing , will be back
Last but not least allow me to recommend one more place to eat in Dublin: The Pepper Pot Café. I had a phenomenal breakfast at this centrally located teahouse and can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t find The Pepper Pot’s offer a delicious one. My toasted homemade bagel (or “bagle” as it’s presented in the menu) was the tastiest and most texturally pleasing I’ve had outside New York and New Jersey – and better than most I’ve had in those states. What made it even yummier was the thick layer of Burren Smoke House salmon with an equally generous spread of chive cream cheese and squirt of lemon. It cost €11.50 and came with a salad, flavoursome pickles and my choice of hot drink (a black Americano – and not bad either).
Had the bacon, pear and cheese sambo - soooo nice!! Weird combo that really works and comes on super fresh thickly sliced bread. Lovely staff and great location. Can't wait to go back again!
My favourite place to get tea in Dublin. Situated on the balcony of powers court town centre, pepper pot is leagues above the other cafes in the town centre and in its surroundings. An all day breakfast and great lunch menu. And the tea! The tea and food are all served on decorated plates and in fancy tea pots. My favourite place to catch up with a friend or to even go alone and relax on my laptop. One thing it could work on is its vegan options, as I know my vegan friends are quite limited
Went here for lunch with friends. Such a sweet spot. Had there yummy bacon cheese and pear sandwich sounds like a weird combination but actually tastes great
Lovely place for a mid week lunch! Very busy but only took me 5 mins or so to get a table. Great size portion of goats cheese in the salad for €9.50 which comes with a slice of yummy brown bread. The rhubarb and mint lemonade was nice but not sensational or anything for the price of €3.50. Maybe if it was a little bigger I'd be happier! I love sitting in powers court even on my own for lunch, it's ideal for people watching, spacious and bright too. The staff were attentive. Next time I'll be back for some cake!
Really yum sandwich and coffee here on a very miserable Dublin day.
They have a lovely menu but I chose the roast pear, bacon and cheese sandwich and an Americano.
Beautiful setting. I had a seat overlooking Powerscourt centre and the piano playing in the background was such a nice backdrop.
The staff are v pleasant.
The sandwich though!!! OMG the bread was chunky but so soft and the filling was delicious. You can see why it's so popular... Wouldn't have put pear and bacon together but it was sooo good :)
You should try here.
My friend came here a few years ago and was always saying how we should try the bacon pear and Brie sandwich, which at first I was like bacon and pear? Pear on a sandwich? What kind of heathen place is this... But how and ever once I tasted the sandwich there was no going back. The bacon. The stewed pear. The Brie. The relish. It just works, not really something you'd make yourself at home for fear of what you'd come down with after eating it. One of the nicest sandwiches I've ever had and it makes one feel quite bourgeois eating such a notion-y combo. I had the freshly squeezed orange juice to wash it all down and I just wanted to dive into the glass, be at one with all the juicy bits and bath in it, so juicy, so zesty and so orangey. Nice location too to have a wee creep on the sexy people in the pyg cafe hehe
The Pepper Pot is a cute little place that my friends and I would go to regularly for lunch. The pear and bacon sandwich is hands down the most popular dish for my group to order. The staff are lovely, plus its a cute little set up, very nice to just sit, eat and people watch inside Powerscourt Shopping Centre.
Had the goats cheese sandwich from here once (brought to the Green with friends to eat) and it was absolutely unreal, as was whatever hip little drink I opted for as part of the 'deal' with the sandwich. It was really, really nice but I simply can't justify their prices for a sandwich whether it slaps the artisan moniker on itself or not. I feel bad saying this though, because the staff are lovely and it seems like a place built on passion.
Just had a really good lunch here . Such a cute spot in the Powerscourt centre ! The food is all so fresh and they have specials everyday . The staff were really helpful and lots of healthy options ! Need to try the breakfast here looked amazing !
Really cute little cafe, lovely surroundings in the powerscourt. Quick enough and friendly staff. I get the goats cheese and red pepper sambo and it's delish. The bread is so lovely and fresh, it really makes a difference that it's homemade. Love the ice tea too. Great on a sunny day to get it to takeaway and then eat in Stephens green ?
This is one of my favourite places to eat at the moment in town. The roasted pear cheese and bacon sandwich is delicious. What a great combination.
I was looking for somewhere new to try and I had previously noticed a busy little cafe on a balcony of the powerscourt shopping centre, the pepper pot. I walked in and and went to the till to be seated as instructed. There was a queue of people paying for their lunch at the counter and I wasn't sure if I was meant to join it or not. Eventually one of the waitresses scurrying by said I could take a seat. The staff were friendly however they seemed flustered and a bit unorganised. I ordered the spiced beef sandwich with celeriac slaw on homemade focaccia. The beef was full of flavour and the sandwich was nicely salted. Overall I had a nice lunch but there’s room for improvement.
