What can I say? Probably one of the best dining experiences we’ve had! From the minute we arrived we knew we were in for treat. The staff are superb, warm and friendly. The atmosphere was very relaxed and bubbly. The food was outstanding. The interaction of the flavours of each dish had me almost licking my plate! Nice touch from the pastry chef for our anniversary and thanks to Derry for looking after us too. It was our third time there and we can’t wait to go back again, we skipped out the door smiling!
BTW we had the 9 course tasting menu with matching wines - Max the sommelier was wonderful

Amazing night both staff and food were excellent. We had the nine course tasting menu with wine. Staff were both welcoming and informative regarding food and the wine choices. Would highly recommend this restaurant, we will definitely be back.
Fantastic food, and friendly professional staff. My wife and myself ate from the tasting menu and have no complaints whatsoever, the food was amazing and well worth the money from a Michelin star restaurant. We have dined in other Michelin star restaurants around Europe and this is on par with any of the best, well done to Derry and his staff.
5 star experience throughout the meal last night, We choose L'Ecrivain to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Absolutely outstanding staff who were friendly without it being ott. The food was fantastic, I had foie gras and Atlantic Hake and hubby had the potato veloute and roast pouissan, each was cooked perfectly. We then a selection of Irish cheeses and a glass of port each. We finished our meal off with some excellent coffees. And our wine selection was served chilled to perfection. We will definitely be back
Visited Dublin for the weekend and I was lucky to experience such unique mouth watering flavours. The waiting staff were attentive but not over the top, passionate and I felt that they really did understand the menu. Best service ever. Quality food. Great experience.

Another amazing meal in L'Ecrivain - From great cocktails and music in the piano bar to the always-genuine & friendly welcome and of course the food. It never disappoints.
Our first time here on Friday night after a long awaited time... We both loved the whole meal. My husband had pigeon for starters which was the best we have tasted yet... Everything from the decor, presentations of food and quality was just perfect... The owner Sally Ann was just lovely and welcoming, as were all the staff... We will definitely be back again... Thank you for a lovely evening...
Enjoyed a really beautiful meal here last night with friends , the service was impeccable the food delicious and the wine amazing 👌🏻 Would highly recommend and looking forward to our next visit .
