Didn't book but able to seat us. (was mother's day). Waitress was very friendly and was willing to make adjustments to the menu so we could have exactly what we wanted. Glass of wine that came with the meal was replaced by coffee at the end. Roast beef dinner that melted in the mouth. Left room for puddings too. Waitress kept a cheesecake aside for hubby and brother in law had choc brownie with ice cream. Definitely recommend and hope to return.

Stumbled across this little restaurant on the Sunday evening had beautiful ribeye steak's with a lovely bottle of wine fantastic friendly staff and the ambience was great I'll definitely be back soon

Loved it ! Taken us years to actually get there for dinner and it didn't disappoint in the slightest. The lamb was sensational !

The food in this restaurant is beautiful. The portions are just right too so whilst you're satisfied you aren't stuffed. The staff were friendly and efficient. All round great.

wonderful meal last night in this lovely authentic French restaurant. There is a lovely atmosphere and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Great choice on the menu, don't miss the venison which was melt in the mouth. ;) Great little bar upstairs as well with big comfy sofas for an after dinner drink. Looking forward to returning soon...

Been meaning to try here for the longest time and finally did! We went on a Sunday eve and they have a great offer on doe 2 10oz ribeye steaks, sides and a bottle of wine for 55euro. The steak was cooked to perfection and the mash we got as a side was awesome! Will definitely be back

Himself took me here recently for my birthday. Had heard great things and it did not disappoint! I had the pate and foie gras to start, best I've ever had. He had the French onion soup, stunning. We both opted for the steak, I had a red wine jus sauce with it and the chips. it was amazing! We will be back!!

Ooh I love this place. Pure comfort food and lovely relaxing atmosphere. Never too long waiting on a table and good service. Honestly one of the best Sunday dinners I've ever had. Their creme brûlée is also perfection.

Beautiful french food in the heart of the foodie Fade Street. The restaurant was busy and bustling on Saturday night but we got a lovely table tucked away near the kitchen, which was open to the restaurant so you could see the Chefs working away. The overall restaurant space was dimly lit with a small bar on one side, and an open kitchen on the other. They were playing funky disco music which I thought was really fun! The food was rich and decadent. The starters were expensive and the portions a little mean.. 3 small scallops and not much else for 12€ and another dish had 1 single courgette flower and salad, I think they are what I call "posh portions". Where the starters were small, the mains were huge! I had the beef cheek with truffle mash, it was in the most beautiful rich sauce, and was perfectly cooked, falling apart easily. The mash was meant to have a truffle flavour through it.. I couldn't really get that flavour. Alas, it was still tasty and I couldn't finish the whole plate (even though I wanted to). My boyfriend has the 10oz rib eye, it was again a large portion. He has it rare and he said it was one of the best steaks he has had in Dublin for a while, now that's saying something! We finished the meal with espressos and limoncello, the desserts looked great but the food was so rich I couldn't look at another morsel of food. It wasn't cheap, but you have to treat yourself with excellent quality food from time to time.
Great spot for a date night, we will be back.

Very impressed with this place tonight. Service, food and wine was impeccable! Started with a delicious re champagne as an apperativ! Beautiful red and white wine to choose from and food was top notch! I opted for the scallops and oxtail for starter which had a gorgeous jus accompanied with it, we also ordered the snails started for us all to try which came with beatific French bread to tip into the snail butter sauce! Have to say snails are delicious! My main course was the rat hake with gambas and seasonal potatoe and green veg with smoke almonds, it was literally melt in your mouth! Followed by the white choc and raspberry cheesecake with elderflower sorbet- unreal! One of the nicest desserts I've ever had. I tried the chocolate tain also, which was gorgeous and the coffee calypso! This place is unreal

Good food and location. Nice atmosphere in this restaurant. The service could be better and the waiting staff could have more knowledge around the food they are serving. I had foie gras parfait and beef cheek with truffle mash. The parfait was lovely and moorish. The beef cheek could have done with a little more cooking but was flavourful, the accompanying truffle mash was devoid of any truffle flavour and lacked seasoning. The plate was also accompanied with pak choy and an oxtail croquette, the pak choy was pointless and not seasoned, the croquette on the other hand was the star of the dish. An overall good experience that left me considering another visit.

Fade Street is home to so many of my favourite bars (No Name, Hogan's, Market bar) and some seriously top notch restaurants. If it's an atmospheric dining room and a boozy brunch you're after then L'Gueuleton have you covered. Whiskey sours and mimosas galore with hearty but classic food. 

The pork and apple sausages with sautéed potatoes and fried egg is a huge portion - it will undoubtedly cure whatever ails you!
