The quaint and warm decor make you want to stay inside and eat tarts forever and ever. I ordered some lemony ginger tea and one apple crumble to eat inside.
The tea was very good, with a citric and, also, sort of spicy flavour; pretty interesting! The apple crumble was delicious, with a good flavour equilibrium, with the sweetness of the apple but also some citric zest. It was big and satisfying. The cream on the side was a very good addition to the mix, because the tart might have become a bit too overbearing without the neutral (but yummy) cream.
I thought it was just a tad overpriced, but it's a good extravagance every now and then.
A treasure trove of quirkiness. If you love tea, scones and cakes or know someone who does then you have to take them here. In the Cows lane branch on a sunny day grab a seat outside.

1. There are 2 outlets and neither show up on Google Maps accurately! The one on Dame street is diagonally opposite the Parliament building - easy to spot. This is a very small one with ~7-8 tables. The other outlet is 2 minutes away - huge and super pretty with outside seating.
2. My friend and I brunched here and their weekend brunch options are brilliant. The food was scrumptious! We had cappuccinos, the French toast with blueberries and whipped cream, omelette with cheddar cheese and mushrooms AND a vegetarian club sandwich! Undoubtedly the best brunch I've had in Dublin and super value for money. They are known for their cupcakes and tarts; we had stuffed ourselves with so much food that we had no space to try those!! They looked lovely though.
3. The staff are super nice and friendly. We were made to wait for almost 30 minutes because a staff member missed making a note of our names in the reservation list and they made sure we were given the best seat with complimentary cappuccinos, to make up for it!!!
4. The service is fast and ambiance is great - perfect place for couples or to hang with friends and families to visit. Highly recommended!!
Lovely busy atmosphere, we'll forgive them the 10 min wait for a table. Great selection of tea and cakes. The lemon meringue pie was delicious, perhaps a little to large for one person but I embraced the challenge.
Culture night was in full swing when I went here for dinner. Not many vegetarian option, I went for the fritatta and it was what I aim for when I make egg dishes. Cheesy with lots of toppings and a nice tangy dressing with the salad. The wine took a while too long to be delivered but otherwise a perfectly good meal. I will return to sample the desserts next time.
Today we returned to a favourite spot of mine but to the Cows Lane location, it didn't disappoint. Delicious savoury food, fabulous sweet tarts & great service. Chorizo, Brie, tomatoes all toasted on focaccia, served with tossed leaves, definitely worth a try. Today the 10th of October we were able to enjoy sitting outside, the perfect brunch spot. We will return again and again.
Really lovely little place to grab a cake and a coffee near Temple Bar. The cakes are absolutely incredible and all equally as tempting. The staff know their stuff so definitely ask for their advice when making a decision (although i'm sure there are no bad ones!) I would note that this is a very small coffee shop so be wary of this when heading along, however they do have a much bigger outlet around the corner from this one, so that's handy enough. I would definitely recommend popping in here if you are around the area.
I had read so much about this place while planning my itinerary for Dublin. So i reserved an afternoon in Dublin for queen of tarts. This place has great ambience with pretty tea sets lying around. Staff is friendly and service is prompt. Their tea, cakes, tarts are really good! This place is perfect for a tea date with your girls.
Really nice place in the centre of Dublin, very nice interior and exterior. The staff are also extremely pleasant and helpful, as for the food it is excellent and so well presented.
My favourite date spot with my mum. We adore this cute café and always go here for tea and cake when we hit the shops. I love the cool fine bone china tea sets and all the plates are different/mis-match. The Victoria sponge cake is (in the words of my mother) "to die for". I highly recommend the plum pie and the scones. Fab fab fab! 👌🏼👏🏼
Really cute cafe with lovely teas and cakes! Great attention to detail and as the name suggest it has a lovely Alice in wonderland theme.. Great place for a tea date with girls, maybe not great for boys due to the complete girliness and dainty interior! Only went here for tea and cake but is definitely go again!
Sweet little place - super touristy and a victim to its own success to some extent (if you're feeling cynical). Always pleasant, great scones and cakes. Not cheap, but decent prices to take away. Well worth stopping by, although coffee buffs take note that this isn't exactly a Java Mecca (head to Tamp & Stitch round the corner for a great espresso afterwards)
This place is well known for its sweets as the name suggests. I went here for lunch a couple of weeks ago and I was very impressed. If you don’t mind the pigeons luring around there is some nice seating outside the front to which we made use of as the sun was shining. The spinach tart was tasteful but nowhere near as exciting as the queen of chocolate fudge cake! The staff were very attentive and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely return to try some more of the yummy cakes.
