Fabulous falafels they have! I tried a make your own falafel with onions, lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber Along with garlic and chili sauce. I felt the falafel can be little more spicy for my taste but the quantity and service is simply great. I also had mint lemonade which was a refreshing drink. Do try the lentil salad at umi falafel! It is very healthy indeed!
Might be the best falafel that you can get in Dublin, besides service is good and staffs are lovely. Palestinian sandwich is my fav so far ;)
Loved the falalel and the lentil salad. I'd highly recommend the meal for two. Perfect quantity and variety.
The staff and ambiance is very nice too. The right place if you want to grab a quick and simple bite.
This was the best falafel that I've ever had!!! I am here for several days and I got addicted to it already. I would recommend you to try it with tzatziki sauce.
I won't forget it's taste for sure :)

Yediğim en iyi falafel şimdiye kadarki. Hem ekonomik hem çok lezzetli. Cacıklı sosla harika oluyor denemenizi tavsiye ederim.
I never had falafels before, but on this day, I found out just how good they are. The food was pretty awesome and fresh. I had the dipping hummus as a side which created an interesting mix of flavours along with the falafels.
The place is normally less crowded during the afternoons. So that would be the good time to visit. Also the service is pretty much effective, where they serve you food in about 5 minutes. The behavior of the staff is very friendly as well.
To keep it simple, I really had a good experience and would love to come back and try some of the other delicious items they have to offer.
This place takes falafel to a high new level!! Their Palestinian wrap is delicious but talk about the BREADED HALLOUMI WRAP!!! Heavenly good especially with that garlic sauce.
Very pocket friendly.
Very clean.
One of the finest place to try veg food. One of the busiest place but for vegetarian best place. However only for and eating veg food are seen.
Best Falafels in the town, Pocket-friendly, great choice of salads and a must-dine-in place in Dublin for a quick bite. It's just over dame street and easy to spot but you can find some queue waiting for you. I personally loved the Jazar Surprise, as I drink that every time I go there for a grub. The seating area is very small and this place is packed most of the times. Great place for vegetarians if you have a lower budget and would like to try Lebanese.
The best falafels in the city. They have varieties of falafel dishes and that to only pure vegan options. I have tried many dishes from the menu as I use to visit frequently. But my favourite is Palestinian Falafel. It has falafels, fresh veggies, hummus inside a pita pocket. Another dishes which is a must try is the potatoes Wedges. Also Eggplant or smashed brinjal served cold with pita bread is a delicious and healthy option.
This places has all the healthy options with lentil soup to name a few more. A must visit for vegan foodies..
The food was lovely! Falafels and hummus were fresh and yum! The sauces were nice as well.
Loved that they served fresh juices vs. canned.
Their pricing is very modest, and the portions are still well-sized.
Ambience was not great - but you don't expect any better from a fast food place.
We had the hummus, the baba ghanoush, falafel and grilled haloumi. It was way too much food and everything was average. The haloumi was particularly good but the falafel and hummus could be better.
Sure, I've only had falafel twice in my life, but this was, without a doubt, the best one. It was very good! I tried it with the moroccan quinoa salad, which was also pretty delicious and fresh. The combination of the quinoa, olives, kidney beans and all the other ingredients provided a very interesting mix of flavours. Also, the dipping hummus was very good!
During lunch, the people don't seem to spend a lot of time here, choosing the place as an alternative for a quick meal. That way, the waiters are pretty effective. Seriously, I must have waited just around 2 minutes for my food. I can also point out that they are very nice!
Pretty good! I want to come back and try some of the other stuff.
In my last day in Dublin I've lunched here, the food was very good the falafel has a good taste. The dining room is a bit small and a little uncomfortable because we almost ate at the same table as the neighbors at the next table. A concept of fast food different from other chains.
Falafels are my go to when it comes to eating out, but can be done so badly. Umi is consistently great, with a great variety in the menu and really good service. I always go for the Palestinian but I went for the falafel wrap and spinach filo rolls. Never disappointed with umi 👌🏻
Very nice staff, delicious hummus, pita bread, and salads! Loved dining in and takeaway. Been here multiple times and enjoyed it every time. Felt that the food was very healthy.
On a three day Dublin trip to see the town and to see The Boss, Bruce Springteen.
Umi Falafel was a perfect lunchtime stop. Very clean place, great food and meal deal at Euro 7.50 was great value in a expensive city.
I went for some lunch today at Umi and it was amazing !! In Dublin it's hard to find a nice lunch for a reasonable price especially one that's healthy and won't leave you starving ! The lunch deal here is 6 falafel , a salad , hummus , Pitta and a drink ( I got a large coffee ) all for €7.50 ! What a steal !
The lunch was so filling that I had to bring the salad home as it was such a big portion .
I would really recommend Umi for all the falafel lovers out there 💕
Love this place, definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Dublin. Great vegetarian spot. The lunch meal deal in particular is great value at only €7.50. The falafels and hummus are delicious. Also love the salads, in particular the Moroccan salad. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall, couldn't reccommend Umi more, always leave satisfied and full.
Went there two times while on a five day trip to Dublin last year and the food was truly superb both times. The clever interiour design of the place led to the misconception that it was part of a chain of restaurants which provided much heartbreak on my part when I realized it to be the opposite. So I probably will not get to eat the delicious falafel again, but I can only highly commend to pay this place a visit. You will not be disappointend! (unless you are a pure carnivore, in which case you may not be at all impressed which the choices available)
I would highly recommend this place. Especially for lunch time. For 7.50 you get sooo much food its just amazing. The place is a bit deceiving you wouldn't think its that big from looking at it at the front. Really nice staff brought us to our seats. I went for the falafels, salad, hummus and pitta bread and a lemon and ginger tea. My pal got the haloumi wrap and wedges. Everything was so tasty, especially that hummus ! I'll be back for some more outrageous food !
Really great lunch meal deal, been in here a few times and love pretty much everything on the menu! It's all vegetarian too! I've always been fit to burst leaving and it's really handy place to pop into with friends in town. Great if you want something handy in town but you don't want a shitey Mc Donald's or something.
A reliable spot for a quick, cheap, tasty meal. They do a good selection of flatbreads, dips, falafels, and halloumi combos. There are a good number of seats at the back, and service is quick and cheerful.
This place is great for a quick bite. Went in with my friend and we were stuffed coming out. We both had a falafel sandwich and shared the Moroccan salad and wedges. The salad was lovely, so many favours. They do a great lunch deal until 5 that is such good value for money.
Only recently tried this place out and it did not disappoint!
I had heard great things about Umi, I tried the Palestinian falafel and it was amazing!
It's a really chilled restaurant with good vibes and attentive staff and most importantly amazing food I will definitely be back again!
A take away that offers really nice falafel for 6 e, also the hummus is amazing full of lemon taste. The staff was nice and able to explain all the dishes they offer
Well I travelled along with my Vegetarian meetup group. We had been here in the past. I enjoyed my time. Food was exquisite. heheehe. The waiter knew his stuff and his dishes dietary. I was most impressed. He knew what was vegan and wasn't. Although the majority of the dishes on offer is Vegan, some are vegetarian. So I just wanted to make sure. Considering the place was bouncing, he was speculator. Ever since Delhi O' Delhi(Review here), closed down(RIP), I have been naming Umi Falafel as my FAV vegan/vegetarian restaurant. Umi is Arabic for "Mother".
Following is what I had
The Lebanese Falafel
Batata Hara/Wedges
Lentil Soup
Basbousa
The Lentil Soup, mmmmmmmm was heaven. Totally enjoyed it. Creamey(VEGAN) creamey soup.
I had asked the waiter what was the soup of the day and he reploied Brocoli Soup of which was I wasn't the best of. SO I chose a nicer soup of which I was glad. hahahah
The Lebanese Falafel was filled in a wrap style or as they call it a Falafel. Filled with styuffiny type, Tomato, Cucumber, pickles, parsely and tahini sauce. It was scrumptious. IT would be suitable as a lunch. It was heaven. mmmmm.
I asked for a side order of Wedges or in Arabic BAtata Hara. They were a bit dry, spicyness was "Just Right". Not too hot, and not too bland(opposite of spicy), it was JUST RIGHT.
I asked for a dessert menu. I quickly looked and chose Basbousa
I been in umi Falafel last year. Real value for money. We'd go for some haloumi (you can't go wrong with haloumi) potato wages, and some few more dishes with Falafel. I remember that all was really nice and I said that I will for sure come back
Great quality/price relationship and with great location. Very nice and friendly staff! Coming at least once a week as the cost never exceeds €10 per person and the food os great!
One of the best places to get a good falafel or food in general. On sunny days you should order falafel and fresh juice to go and head to Dubhlinn Garden just behind, for an improvised picnic :) Another good idea as to take your meal in the evenings to the comedy crunch for free stand up comedy.
Really high quality falafel, I usually get the Palestinian falafel sandwich and it tastes so fresh and the spice is well balanced with the sweetness of the tomatoes. I love the minty lemonade too, it's a pity it's not included in the lunch menu. Service was patchy, the bill was delivered to us in the middle of our meal without a word and the server seemed distracted. I will definitely be back though.
Have to thank my sister for introducing me to this one. She has recently turned vegetarian and loves this place as everything on the menu is vegetarian. It's the tastiest falafel I have had in Dublin. The Palestinian falafel sandwich is sooo tasty. Their hummus is delicious too! And the place is seriously cheap.
Best falafel in town! We are always on the lookout for the best falafel and hummus in town. And Umi is right up there. It's our home away from home. Great value and fresh flavors. ❤️ it
Had my first ever falafel here, and it was AMAZING. The place has a modern look to it and the meal deal before 5 is brilliant, falafel, chips and a drink for 7.50, you can't go wrong with that! The chips come in what I can only describe as a cute little wire trolley which I wanted to steal sooo bad ( I refrained from doing so). Staff were lovely, and I've been back a few times since.
Went there the other day for late snack. I have visited it a couple times already and I just love how relaxed it is. Falafel itself is amazing. Great value for the money. If you go for falafel salad I would reccomend to ask for dressing on a side as they use a good bit of it. But most definitely try it if you havent yet!
The freshest falafel this side of the Persian Gulf.
I've dined in this fine Middle Eastern establishment many a lunchtime and have not a single time been disappointed. The queues are always long, the service brusque yet efficient and the tables overflow like the artificial fronds of the Palm Jumeirah.
Portion sizes for all meal deals are generous and perfect for sharing. The vegetables in all salads and sides are fresh and full of bite. The falafel are made to order and arrive as hot and crispy as an Irishman in downtown Yemen during an arid and unforgiving summer.
great food great place , fresh falafel and wide selection of salads and central location at Dame street , the service is fast , the staff are really friendly
Delicious Falafel. The best I have had. The Palestinian Falafel is amazing. Very filling. The Baba Ghanough is most certainly the best I also ever had. Even nicer than the one I had in Lebanon!
The place has a good decor and the staff are fantastic.
Good cheap place for falafel in the city centre - not an expert on the subject, but certainly the best I've had in Dublin. Quick service, friendly staff, fresh tasty veggies and salad in the wrap too. Fan of this place.
After a long wait, I finally ticked a visit to Umi Falafel off my list yesterday, and I'm happy to say it most definitely delivered on my expectations. I decided to make the most of it and eat-in, and both the food and service were great. I went for the Palestinian falafel, which was served in a pitta with hummus, tomato, cucumber, pickles, and fried aubergine. The aubergine was an excellent addition, the the chilli sauce topped it all off perfectly. I went for the meal option, and with the addition of a generous portion of great potato wedges and a can of coke all for €7.50, it was outstanding value. Really good food, I'm definitely looking forward to my next visit.
Umi Falafel serves fresh platters of vegetarian Middle Eastern goodness such as falafel and salads. The lunch meals are especially awesome because you get a delicious falafel plate or sandwich, a side and a drink for only Euro 7.50. I had The Palestinian Falafel, which was nice and spicy. The restaurant itself is clean with a minimal design – the perfect setting for a quick and satisfying meal.
Fantastic falafel! They have a great lunch deal that comes with wedges. The wedges are hands down the best in Dublin and they have a kind of lemon taste to them. They don’t serve meat but you wouldn’t miss it. The service here is really great, there so friendly and fast enough to grab a quick bite to eat on your lunch break. Wraps are my favorite here but you can't go wrong with the salads or pittas.
