Ya great spot. I am not a regular pub goer and I was brought to Mary's by friends following a meal in Saba , and we had some craic. The moment I walked in , I just knew that it was going to be whacky. We were joking while walking in the door and immediately the bartender pass a remark as did another young lad sitting at the counter and it all kicked on from there. What a night. The bartender was a young guy but I'd swear that he was related to Teelings the whiskey makers, he was some sales man for them. Great atmosphere . Great great pint.
Had a lovely afternoon pint in this 'hardware' bar. Great atmosphere with brilliant decor. Well overdue a visit. Looking forward to going back already as never made it downstairs for a peek. Highly recommend a visit if you 've never been.
Being as rough as a plumbers estimate I have just came in here and got a pint and a toastie for 8 euoros and it has without a doubt saved my life. Brilliant little place and amazing value.

Best bar in City Center. Dean and Amy were our wonderful bartenders. Dean gave us a lot of great recommendations for dinner and drinks as well as wonderful stories. Wow burger downstairs is delicious. Get the garlic butter fries.
such a great bar and great staff. the new down stairs area is terrific and love that they sell all the old style sweets and oxo and random hardware stuff too. very atmospheric and a great pint.

Spent five days in Dublin, over the course of two weeks in Ireland. Visited many a public house, but my wife and I visited Mary's at least ONCE a day, largely due to Grahame and his superlative service in every sense of the word. He provided great stories, information and travel advice. Pulls a nice pint and makes a wonderful drink. Excellent advisor on whiskey! Follow his advice for the best food / activity advice for Gallway as well. Mary's is the place for Toasties too, where our Man Grahame is KING!
One of the best little bars in Dublin. Great atmosphere, service and very friendly. Top marks! :-)
Great place to meet up with friends, have a perfect pint, sing a song or just people watch. Had a grand time while visiting Dublin last summer and would recommend it to anyone, young or old.
Stumbled across this place and what a find. Amazing place - felt we experienced the real Ireland. Lovely to experience real Irish music and every one mixing together. Will be back on next visit.
Super ..fab..loved it ..great Buzz about the place ..will be back for more
I have nothing but positive things to say about Mary's. We ended up back there 3 nights in a row. By far it was the most welcoming, friendly, and fun bar that we experienced on our trip. The thing that made Mary's so great was the staff. Shane, Shane, Johnny, and Evan are awesome. They worked hard to make sure that everyone was being taken care of, but they still found time to joke around and interact with the customers. All in all a wonderful time. If I lived closer I would be a regular.
Been there a few times lovely staff and lovely atmosphere !
