This is a beautiful hidden gem, full of eastern promise.... The ambiance, decor, dinner menu & cocktail lounge definitely surpassed our expectation. The menu is well thought out and well presented, living up to its eastern promise... The Best Thai Cuisine in Ireland
The food is incredible and the staff are fantastic! So friendly and accommodating. We had dinner followed by a cocktail making class and it was such a fantastic night! Highly recommend and will definitely be back again.
Dropped in on Tuesday without a reservation and although they were very busy we were accommodated straight away. There were 3 of us and we were all very impressed with the prompt service, tasty food, friendly waiter, and reasonable prices, we all had the Early Bird for €22.50 each. They also have a variety of gluten free options. Will be back again!
Went to koh last night for me partners birthday and from the time we arrived till the time we left every staff member was so friendly they even brought a brownie out wit a candle and sang happy birthday the food was unbelievable and the drink choice is never ending five stars is not enough to give will be returning soon nicest place I've eaten ever
First time visit today (Saturday 10 March), I ordered the Thai Red Duck Curry - I have to be honest it was one of the best main courses I have had all year; it was so good I could have licked the plate clean - but I didn't - yum, yum, yum...
Staff were really nice. Food was amazing and the place had a really nice atmosphere. Couldn't recommend it more. I haven't a bad word to say. Really enjoyed the evening will definately be back
Had my hens here on Saturday night my whole group had a ball great cocktail class an gorgeous food an great staff highly recommend
My first visit and I'll definitely be back. A gem of a place. Gorgeous food and cocktails. Great staff and luxurious surroundings. Fab.
Fab cocktails, food was amazing & lovely staff. Def recommend
The food was delicious and really nice and friendly staff highly recommend
Great restaurant- first time there and very impressed - fab food, great ambience and excellent staff xx
I've been here numerous times. Never fails. The food is Unreal, drinks are fantastic. Atmosphere is always great. Hands down, this is my favourite Thai in Dublin and I've pretty much tried them all.. get the holy basil beef
Super food , great staff and all at a great price , koh is my no 1 reason to visit Dublin !
The food in KOH was great. The bar was amazing. Interior of KOH was pretty impressive and most amazing thing is service was excellent.
I went there to meet my friends and it was such a great meet with food. 😅
The bar was amazing, the restaurant in itself has a wonderful interiors. The food was worth the price especially their chicken chilli thai style with rice. A must visit👍🏻 The staff is friendly!!
I went to KOH last night to attend my friend's bday party. The staff was friendly and courteous. Ambiance is vibrant and the music isn't very loud so you can enjoy your conversation with your friends. We ordered some Thai Red Curries, Thai Green Curries, Thai Yellow Curries, Chargrilled Ribs, Crispy Scallop and Prawn Wontons and Imperial Crispy Spring Rolls.
Food was very delicious even though the portion size could have been little large as few of my friends had to ask for some extra jasmine rice.
Advanced booking is recommended if you want to get a nice and cozy private place for your gang.
Food is expensive considering the taste
Bar is. The best I have been in dublin. It's live n the service is another ⭐️on its own.
One of best this despite at city centre the location of this restaurant is so quite n enjoyable
Popped in to koh for drinks and dinner with friends last Sunday night. Weirdly we were sat at the bar to order drinks and had to go chasing our table once we had them despite having booked a table. Cocktails were lovely but quite limited with none of your standard ones although they did make my friend a espresso martini on request. Food was lovely,I got the chicken chillies and basil stir fry which was nice but nothing to shout about! For dessert I went for white cyclists and raspberry cheesecake which was delicious! They were very short staffed- slow clearing tables and it wasn't easy to order drinks. But wouldn't stop me from coming back! Quite reasonably priced with a pre theatre/early bird menu too.
Just had lunch here - really good reminds me of the asian restaurants you get in Paris or London. Food was exceptional and service to match! Was told it was expensive but I would disagree you pay for good food and this was great!
Beautiful food and very reasonable. Myself and my sister got a meal for 2 for 22 euro as we took a break from shopping. Was the perfect stop off!
Vibrant Thai food.
I've been here during lunchtime. The place was not too busy and the service is great on a cozy fancy environment. The best part is that it's quite affordable at lunchtime.
I got the Kee Mao Seafood, which is basically rice noodles with seafood. It was a delicious, spicy (perhaps a bit too much and I'm a spicy food fan) and had loads of texture.
I'll definitely be back as it's perfect for a comforting lunch.
Good and affordable Thai for lunch time.
Very nice place with good service and decent pricing. Really good for lunch time, not very busy and quite quick service. Got the chicken Pad Thai: good portion and nice flavors. The place is very cozy and the bar looks quite nice!
Definitely a good option for lunch time on a work day!
We had a three course lunch. Lunch from 12-5, great selection on the lunch menu @ very reasonable price. Service was excellent, prompt and polite. Prawns and chicken skewers for starters. Chicken was average but then again most chicken skewers are. Prawns delish.
I had a beautiful prawn red curry. The curry was the best I've tasted but it needed more veg and maybe even more prawns. Laura had the Pad Thai and loved it. To finish cheesecake and banoffi pie. Cheesecake had a lair of raspberries between biscuit and white chocolate, simply divine.
Great value lunch, great service and very tasty. I will be back. In a great location too, surrounded by cafes, restaurants and bars on a little strip between the luas and the quays.
Koh, although slightly off the beaten track, is one of the best asian and thai restaurants about. With award winning cocktails, this spot is amazing. They have an early bird which is also great value; at 19.50 for 2 course thursday-sunday, available from 5pm. I got the chicken wings to start, and singapore noodles for main. Both were amazing, and spicy (i asked for extra spicy!)
With such great value and delish cocktails, its a must! Staff are also very friendly and accomadating as we didnt have a booking.
Only downside - its very dark in the bar so if your eating there its quite hard to see your food!
Great thai food and cocktails! Ive been here 10+ times for lunch and dinner and i have never been disappointed. The Singapore noodles with chicken is my fav! And their bellini cocktail has a little cherry in the end which is lovely!
I stopped in here yesterday for dinner for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised. The special of the day enticed us in, panfried hake fillet in a Thai red curry sauce, crab meat, stirfried veggies, jasmine rice. Absolutely beautiful, and quite spectacular looking when it was brought out. I chose the seafood stir-fry; this had a chilli rating of 2 which should have a bit of a kick to it, but it came out in a largely soy-based sauce, no spice to it. It was still delicious don't get me wrong, I was very happy with what I got! Great array of seafood, mussels calamari big Dublin bay prawns and some hake, very well made and sweet in flavour. Perhaps if you're a spice-lover, choose something that's 3+ from the menu. The cocktail I tried was a special of the day, 555, really delicious too. Overall I was incredibly pleased with the meal! The only let down of the entire experience was the initial service we received, or didn't receive would be more accurate. Within a minute of sitting down we had decided what to order and sat patiently waiting with our menus closed for a server to come along, but it was about 25 minutes before we eventually waved one down to come over to us. I put this down to the busyness of the restaurant on a Tuesday evening, it must have been unexpected, and they were therefore a bit short-handed. Our server was lovely regardless of this extra stress; she was new to the restaurant, and after the initial ordering fiasco we were looked after well, she was very pleasant and friendly and made sure we had all we needed.
Went here for a girls night out with my work crowd! It's a cool space, sort of had a large boudoir feel. The staff weren't the friendliest but we were a very large group of loud and chatty girls! The food was above average but nothing unique. Their wine offering could improve but there were still a nice few bottles on offer. The main focus was on the cocktails and they were excellent and very competitively priced. This is close to work, so no doubt I shall be back for another after work drinks and catch up on a Friday.
Koh is always a good idea. I've been a few times and the food is really tasty and very reasonably priced. The yellow chicken curry is my personal favourite. It's location is fantastic; you're right in the city centre if you want to move on after your meal but that's not necessary as they have a well-stocked cocktail menu if you'd like to stick around.
Really nice place with amazing cocktails! Be very careful with the spice ratings for each dish! I love spicy food and went for a dish which was a 2 chilli rating. I found this was very spicy and some dishes have a 4 chilli rating so just keep that in mind! Early bird/pre theatre menu is great value! Very tasty food however it was quite dead in terms of atmosphere however it was a Tuesday night!
Great atmosphere for people looking for a restaurant or a casual lobby setting. Been there a few times and the service and food have been exceptional . Would recommend it to anyone planning on chilling out with some nice cocktails and Asian cuisine.
We only had cocktails, while the initial service was somewhat poor, the second round was much more efficient. Cocktails at €7 were fabulous. I can recommend the mango with chilli hit, delicious.
It’s that time of the year when all we want in our lives is to dip our toes in to the sand with a cocktail in hand. However, some of us have no choice but to slave away at work all summer, chained to the office keyboard.
Located just behind Jervis Shopping Centre, KOH bar and restaurant is a gem. With a Thai theme, the vibe is relaxed and exotic. The food looked great, but we didn’t have a chance to try it. Today, it was all about the cocktails.
KOH were recently announced as Best Cocktail Bar in the 2015 Good Eating Guide Awards. They pride themselves on the use of high-quality, fresh ingredients and, I can vouch for the fact that their cocktails are amazing as a result. Here’s a breakdown of some of the drinks we tried:
Toblerone: This offering was created using Baileys Irish Cream, honey, frangelico and cream. It was smooth and velvety, with a taste reminiscent of chocolate milkshakes. This was a firm favourite of the group.
Daiquiri: Made using Angostura Reserva, lime juice and sugar syrup. Daiquiri cocktails seem to be hugely popular in Ireland and while this one was delicious, I recommend trying something new when you have expert mixologists waiting to tickle your taste buds.
Cherry Bomb: This one was a mixture of Cherry Heering, cognac, cherries, sage and lime. A feast to the taste buds, I really enjoyed this choice. It offered a really authentic cherry flavour while providing a strong kick.
Start Me Up: Credited as one of KOH’s own creations, this cocktail is made up of gin, elderflower liqueur, passion fruit and mint. This cocktail was a burst of flavour, full of minty fruitiness. Highly recommended.
So, I’ve found my new favourite cocktail spot in Dublin. At approximately €9.50 per cocktail, KOH is certainly a treat but a worthwhile one. Keep an eye out for special offers on their social media outlets.
Have you got a favourite cocktail spot in the city? Let me know!

Visited Koh with a group of ladies. I opted for one of the salads which was beautiful and fresh. Mango and crab are one of my favourite combos and it didn't fail. Had some wok fried greens on the side which were also beautiful. Nice wine with dinner too. We had drinks in the bar after which were great and it was quiet enough for chats while still having a good atmosphere.
I love Koh!!!. Lovely and very specially made and very tasty. It's really unique, I coudn't find it anywhere accept in Koh. Service is excellent, and staff are wonderful and very friendly. Price is reasonable, and it can not be beaten.
