Been to this place twice. The food is good but a tad bit on the expensive side. I would recommend trying out the Korma Chicken. It is really delicious. The kebab platter is also very nice. Service is satisfactory. The restaurant has a good ambiance and neat interiors. Overall, it could be a potential good place for awesome Indian food away from home. Try this place out once if you can guys.
Ravi's Kitchen had been a great experience that I am coming back a year later to leave a review. For a Indian vegetarian and avid food lover, finding Ravi's Kitchen was a great respite, walkable distance from the hotel that I was staying in.
I would rate the food as very good and the service was a bit slow but was compensated by the warmth shared by the couple running it and the taste of the dishes
We thoroughly enjoyed and our time and would look back to my next Dublin trip to come back to this place....
Great Indian Food. Nice Indian ambience. Service is also decent. Could be termed a little over-priced though in comparison with other options right next to it in the neighbourhood. Can work on their sitting arrangements, could be more spacious and comfortable.
Authentic Indian cuisine, looks like it is run by a lovely indian couple.
Food is delicious but be aware it could be too spicy. If you are unsure, they will help you pick your items. My favorite was korma chicken
One of the best Indian restaurants in Dublin .Here you get the true authentic Indian food prepared by an Indian chef .Far better than what I have tasted in other parts of Europe .
I come here only on special occasions because this is THE place for me to have an unforgettable evening. We loved this place already when its Indian owners were running the - by far - best Japanese restaurant in Dublin. Now that they moved back to their origin it's got to perfection. They are super nice and their food is truly authentic and incredibly tasty. One big advice: ask to the lady running the place to advice you. She'll ensure you'll get the best out of the food list and the night itself.
Good to have customized food away from home, visited this place 4 times in 1 weeks time as it was in front of hotel where I was staying.
Taste lovely, customisation was offered by staff.
New Years Eve delivery. Ordering was straightforward. Delivery guy got a little lost but found us quickly. Everything we ordered arrived and the food was still warm. Food was delicious especially the onion baji and tikka masala. E3 for rice is expensive and should be included in curry price
One of the best Indian restaurants I've been to in Dublin. Extremely authentic, the atmosphere is great and their staff are so sweet. Make sure to try their mango lassi! Would recommend to all!
This place wins hands down for it's amazing ambience. . Every small detailing is just upto the mark and very Indian..
The food was full of flavours and the blend of the spices were perfect.
Overall a very nice and recommended Indian restaurant..
Have been craving an Indian for weeks and finally gave in and ordered a ravi's to takeaway. It didn't disappoint at all, the food is really delicious. I went to collect it and the restaurant itself was starting to fill its seats, bear in mind it was only 6.30, the customer service seemed really good as everyone I dealt with when paying and asked to sit and wait for my fresh takeout were really polite and attentive. We had decided to order a few dishes to share and it didn't disappoint! We ordered the prawn Malay coconut milk curry which was gorgeous, priced at 13.50 it was a large dish with loads of massive prawns in it, next we ordered the saag paneer, a spinach and cottage cheese creamed vegetarian curry dish, we opted for the starter size and it was a decent size for 6.50! We also ordered a chickpea side curry which was bursting with flavour too, all of the dishes had Ali Ely spice and that was the main flavours coming through, not a heavy creamy affair like so many Indians! Finally we ordered a garlic, onion and coriander naan bread to share and it was divine, probably the best naan iv had! Overall the flavours were fabulous, and despite eating all that I didn't feel sick or too full, which backs up that as Indians go I think this one isn't too unhealthy. The bill for that was 27 euro, bearing in mind I live 2 mins away so I collected it, it's a high end takeout but it was certainly worth what we paid for it! I will most certainly be returning as I haven't even tried my favourite Indian dish yet! Although the saag paneer will take some beating!
Ravi's is a wonderful experience every time I visit. The friendly staff gives great recommendations based on what tastes I am looking for that evening and always has a genuine smile on. This leads in turn to a great meal being put in front of me that I enjoy to the last bite!
The food was totally amazing! Some of the best Indian food I've tasted. Good for vegetarians as well. Good quality and fantastic flavors make this place a winner
Ordered from here on a number of occasions the food is great and really good value. They're very quick at delivering and the portion sizes are really generous! Often we've ordered too much food. I'm keen to eat in the restaurant some time soon!
