I’ve been planning to come this place for a long time. The place is stunning with their vintage and hippie atmosphere. Foods are really good as well. And also it’s really good spot for instagram pictures 🙈😝

Very close to St Patrick's Cathedral there is the cute "little" corner serving the best breakfast and lunch menu I have ever tasted in Dublin.
I had the avocado toast, kambucha and a cappucino and everything was just perfect. The mood is perfect, the music, the nice staff....
You'll have me more often Fumbally!

Unique, Quirky and Eco Friendly so glad we fumbled upon this charming café in Dublin City very close to St Patricks Cathedral.  . Fumbally Café. Just on the street corner off Fumbally Lane you will find this endearing café owned and ran by Aisling and Luca.  In their own words it is a culmination of 4 years of cooking, travelling, working at festivals, gathering ideas, arguing those ideas, making mistakes, making new friends, finally realising those ideas, having lots of dinners, tasting new things, building a kitchen and seeing what will happen. True to that testament is what we found at this café evidence of hardwork, passion and a love of earthly things.

Hands down my favourite spot for lunch in Dublin. Between the atmosphere, the food and the service, The Fumbally ticks all the boxes (for me anyways). Serves organic healthy food, with all the ingredients used in the food, displayed as decoration inside. I got the falafel plate, and my friend got avocado on toast with salads. Both were phenomenal, as you can see in the pictures 👌🏻

My friend recommended The Fumbally when I visited Dublin a few weeks ago, but I didn't expect it to be so good! The atmosphere was great, the people who worked there were incredibly nice and the food was fantastic. If I'm ever in Dublin again I'll be sure to visit!

Love at the first sight with The Fumbally. It has an impecable interior, good food and good coffee. The vibes are great. If dublin is close to home, This place will be my regular morning spot.

A bit out of the way than other city centre offerings but worth the walk if you want a really delicious and more unusual dish. I love the open kitchen and fresh produce on display - it's not uncommon to see the chefs coming out from behind the counter to grab produce from the display for use in dishes.

The communal seating and mismatched furnishings I really like. Everything is utterly Instagrammable.

I had a black sesame milk here once that was amazing. I would go back for it alone & of course their falafel plate.

I loved everything about fumbally! I ordered the salad plate and added a small soup. The soup was delicious - lentil carrot ginger soup topped with coriander, it was great! The plate had a quinoa salad, an apple salad and roasted carrots and leek - i highlight these last ones. It also had a very tasty hummus and a slice of rustic fluffy bread. I had the chance to try an orange cake that was very very tasty and fresh! The falafel was also nice. I wish i would spend more time in dublin to return there and try new things! I just don't go with a 5 stars review because it has an huge queue and it can get confusing and you don't get enough time to chill on thw table after the meal, because you have to give space to other people. The staff was very nice and the place is very cute and really worth a visit (and many more).

Quirky little spot for a healthy bite, I'm not mad about where it is but it's really tasty. I like that you feel like you're in a huge open plan kitchen and sit with strangers. It's unique in that sense. The pulled pork bap & their falafel were delicious. Definitely somewhere you could spend ages relaxing/working with tea or coffee!

Had the falafel wrap which was so good, probably the best falafel I've had in Dublin. Huge portion aswell for only €6. They use 3fe coffee which is always amazing. Split the raspberry upside down cake with my sister, was also divine!

Visited the lovely, quaint Fumbally today for lunch. I couldn't recommend it enough, the food is beautifully presented and freshly prepared, the flavors are so exciting and the portions do a great job of filling you up. I got the avocado lunch option consisting of avocado on a generous slice of freshly baked bread topped with pickled red cabbage, alongside 3 of the salads of the day. Only one word to describe this dish...delicious. The friends I were with opted for the falafel plate, the salad plate with falafel and hummus, the Fumbally eggs and the special hot sandwich of the day, with each of us both satisfied with our own choice and inevitably jealous of each others at the same time. The staff are lovely and polite. Make sure you allow yourself plenty of time to enjoy the experience because there's always a queue at lunchtime, a good sign of course!

I found the Fumbally cafe about 2 years ago on a hungover hunt for satisfying food. This was the PERFECT find. I've regularly returned since. My favourite is the avocado on toast which comes with salads (which change daily). The dish is nothing short of perfect. While I find it hard to vary my order the specials are sometimes too good not to order. They do incredible tacos and have also had an unbeatable chilli (with guac and the lot).. The falafel is also a great option. Id recommend the fumbally to everyone, but make sure and go early, it can be hard to get a seat!

OK, more of an institution than a restaurant these days but I made it back here after a few months hiatus this month & felt it was worthy of a share. The Fumbally serves delicious, healthy, hearty food in a ‘so laid back its vertial’ type establishment.
Despite having a whole range of menu options, I rarely venture from their salad plates which are always divine & served with deeeeliciously decadent bread, amazing.

This is the perfect spot for a catch up with friends and if you haven’t already been there, get it on your to-do list.

One of my absolute favourite spots for breakfast/lunch. The meat sandwich never disappoints, along with beautiful veggie options from the menu, and there's always an unusual soup! Comfortable and relaxed seating arrangement which always provides an interesting dining experience. Great coffee, great service, great spot!

So pretty sure I had coffee at Hipster Central..

Visited The Fumbally located on Fumbally Lane (funnily enough) Dublin 8.

You can check their food menu online but was only really interested in a quick coffee and pastry.

Really good choice, their rasbperry cheesecake looked so good! I found it hard to choose but ended up choosing a pear popover (Another US import) and fiancé chose a really healthy flapjack...

They give you a wooden block with a letter on it (like a toy you had as a child? and deliver your coffee to the table when it's ready.

Yes that is a lost balloon in one of the photos :(

You can also buy coffee here. Today we chose 3FE Ethiopia Kebel Kercha Guji.

High ceilings, a complete mismatch of seats and the plates wouldn't look out of place in my nanna's cupboard. The cups on the otherhand are a total modern grey and tie in far better with the building. So yes it is full of hipsters but families were there too. They've a great contrast of old and new and that makes me think we'll be making the trip back there again. If for nothing else than to pick up more coffee beans to bring home!

I was going to get pastries for breakfast but decided on eggs because I was hitting the library hard that day. I love eggs but eggy eggs can be a bit gross, however these felt like buttery ribbons dancing in my mouth. Not a huge portion and the coffee was small for the price but I felt really happy leaving. The staff seem really fun and like they're having a fun dance party but I wanted to be invited to the party! I wanted to be more included in the cheeriness and for them to engage with me more. Love the space and decor.

It is almost 2 years since I am in Dublin. I remember the first week here I was walking the city handle in CV’s and having interviews for shitty jobs. While waiting for one of those in Fumbally lane, I entered the nearest cafe which was called the same way. If you are wondering, I never got the job (thanks God!) but I discovered a place which will always make me think about the beginning of my adventures in Dublin. And all of that was before The Fumbally started to be crowded because it is the new hipster place to go and have brunch.

Anyway, I took my best friend there for a catch up session and some delicious organic stuff. I love this place in a way because it is a bit away of the city center so you still feel it is a neighborhood place where the same guy goes every Sunday for coffee with the paper under his arm. Inside it is always crazy full so finding a spot might not be easy. Of course sharing table (and sofa) is totally acceptable.

The brunch menu is pretty simple and straight forward with a predominance of avocado; avocado everywhere. One of their most famous dishes is the avocado eggs with chorizo, which I highly recommend. For a change, this time I went for the falafel. I really liked it, fresh and tasty but definitely not the easiest thing to eat: it becomes messy with beetroot juice all over the place. Don’t go for it if you are on a date.

Grade: 8/10
Price: € (only on Sundays)

Bon Apetite!

I used to work beside the Fumbally so frequented it quite often. The food is always so fresh. I am a major fan of their bread and all of their pastries. The coffee isn't for me, I think it is a little too strong, however I know many people who love it. Be warned, it is extremely busy at lunchtime, so be prepared to queue!

Lovely atmosphere, really friendly staff and gorgeous food. Granola was yummy, and have it on recommendation that the avocado brunch dish was beautiful. Would definitely recommend! Only reservation is exterior - too unassuming!

I have been coming to The Fumbally whenever i can since it opened a couple of years ago. They take the food & drink they serve seriously & as a result everything is delicious. I always stop in for a coffee when I'm passing, perfect lattes in my opinion. Staff are lovely, there's a really good atmosphere, it's a nice spot to relax with a book for a few hours. Hands down my favourite spot anywhere.

Such a cool place, I went for Saturday morning brunch and got the Everything-free Granola, absolutely delicious. I also took home one of their cold-pressed juices which was also great, I will definitely be paying another visit

Went here for the first time the other day! Very very hipster place. Got the falafel wrap with a side salad and one of their homemade juices. The place is so cool and nothing you would really find anywhere else in Dublin. The food was good, service was good and atmosphere was great. I'd even just go to chill there for awhile with a coffee. Very cool, I'll be back! The wrap was also huge!

This place is fab for breakfast. Best scrambled eggs hand down. They make all their juices and even their own almond milk, great for just coffee and a treat too.

Hooray! The perfect coffee! This is the kind of cafe I love, where you can sit in a comfy spot on a couch or communal table and read to your hearts content. Good fresh healthy food, quick friendly service, and (again) perfect coffee!

The Fumbally has the best pulled pork sandwich in Dublin in my undisputed opinion. And the coffee is quite excellent too. I like the mismatched and upcycled furniture and the letter blocks that act as table numbers; if Urban Outfitters did restaurants this would be it.

The Fumbally has been kicking around for nearly two years now, and while I have been meaning to go in for ages the opportunity only arose yesterday when I was on Clanbrassil street. The Fumbally is a pretty cavernous room with crazy high ceilings and a giant pillar in the middle of the room. It looks like it was a car park once upon a time but is furnished and decorated so well they've managed to make it feel really cosy. It has mismatched furniture, tonnes of stained and salvaged wood, and lots of framed band posters and big clocks. Granted, it's a hipsters wet dream, but also a great place to sit in and get some work done over a few cups of coffee.

I ordered the Falafel plate and a side salad with a coffee and can really find no flaw in any of them. The falafel balls were the best I've had in Dublin, the coffee was great and the side salad was filling and healthy. I'd go back here every afternoon if i could.

Ah the Fumbally, scene of many a working lunch. A serious feast for the senses. When you walk in, prepare to be overwhelmed with the exotic smells of spices and be greeted the sight of rows of fresh produce around the cafe.

Healthy food is the Fumbally’s main outlook, you won’t find anything deep fried here. What you will get is a daily changing menu with well prepared hot meals, fantastic salads and the best breakfast in Dublin.

The Fumbally Eggs are the stuff of legend - scrambled eggs with Gubbeen cheese and tomato on lightly toasted brioche. No better way to start your day.
