This is one of my favorite place to spend in Dublin with Hoegaarden pint.
A best fine dining experience.
Huge place and they've used the entire area wisely.
there is bar section, lounge, fine dine area is upstairs and many toilets.
Ambiance is contemporary and modern kitchen.
one of the must try places in Dublin.
If you visit Dublin then you just have to visit the Church. The decor is fabulous and the place is gigantic. The main bar area is always jam packed. There is another seating area downstairs where you might get a table of you're lucky. And there is an upscale dining area on the first floor. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. There is a variety of alcohol to choose from. Great finger food. My personal favorite is the Nachos.
We went here, because it was recomended by friends that were already there. We stayed in the ground, where it's more like a bar, but where they serve food. It didn't disapoint. The food was really great, and the staff was really nice and attentive. If you are staying in Dublin, make sure to visit it. And the live show was a plus.
Great atmosphere and perfect place for a group of friends to chill out before heading out for the night. Staff is quite friendly and brilliant choice of drinks and food.
Loved the ambience!
Definitely worth a visit when in Dublin. Has a different vibe than a regular club.
A friend of mine and I went in on an evening during the work week for a couple of drinks, we got to enjoy some a performance of Irish dancing with some great live music. Though the music and dancing was very loud they kept playing at intervals. Must say it was entertaining. The snacks was very tasty as well. I'd definitely recommend a visit.
One of the most beatiiful pubs or bars I ever been to. An old church! Very nice place to have a drink with a platter typical of the old irish pubs. Should someone go to Dublin and go out for drinks this is place for a good kick-off.
Although the food is not amazing but enough good, the spot is wonderful and highly recommended. It's suggest to book it. A very interesting experience specially for tourists.
The Church is that kind of place we must visit when we are on a trip In Ireland. I have eaten one of the best Irish stews I ever had here, the meat was very delicious and perfectly served! We tried fish and chips too and we were not dissapointed. The interior of the church is very nice and it makes great atmosphere, hope we will visit you shortly!
Tried The Church out a couple of months ago because I heard of the amazing food! I was not let down as the Clonakilty burger was the best one to date! The portion size was spot on and went down well with a couple pints of Guiness:-) will definitely visit again soon! Also the nachos are a must to try!
I have to say the staff in The Church are some of the best I've come across. Really accommodating and helpful. The drinks process are little on the high side so it's kinda hard to stay for the night, but if you're in need of a quite one while out shopping on Jervis St, you can't go to wrong here!
Tasty bar food for a quick lunch when you are Christmas shopping. It is naturally quite full of tourists but there is a great buzz inside.
I have eaten in the restaurant upstairs but not for a few years. It was good then but can't say for sure what it's like now!
Lemon meringue pie Martini, what more can
I say? Service is great and the atmosphere is really pleasant. Super high class feel with affordability.
Really liked this place!
The vibe is great , the waiters are very friendly and , most importantly, the beer is exceptional!
Ask a rib and come back a thousand times !
Love Coming here for a few drinks with the girls and a bite to eat! Drinks are a little more pricey than some places but it's well worth the money.. The food is gorgeous! I'd certainly recommend trying the steak or the Nanchos, amazing! It has a great vibe and is nice and cosy. The staff are also very friendly and attentive :)
A great spot on a sunny day if you're able to bag yourself a table outside in the sun. The food is higher than average but not life changing I would say; mainly pubgrub-esque with burgers and wings and things of that sort, but very well presented and executed, very tasty! High end pub grub; this is speaking from experience of the lunch menu, I'm sure the dinner menu is a bit snazzier! I had a lovely cheesecake for dessert too. The main appeal of this place is the stunning venue; it is a real experience that one must see for themselves. Sitting nside or outside you won't be disappointed.
I visited the Church last Sunday for an after shopping drink with a friend. It is the perfect location for this and when I worked in town I used to go here quite often for drinks and food. The interior is quite spectacular. Very high ceilings and a large organ upstairs. It's gorgeous. There was a great buzz around the place, a mix of family and groups all around. And they had live music too, which is a bonus in my opinion. We didn't eat, but any of the food that passed us by smelt fabulous and looked delicious. The outdoor area is huge and on the rear occasion that the sun shines it's the perfect setting for afternoon drinks.
The one thing I absolutely love about this place is their beer garden. It's sheltered from the busy shopping streets around and is perfect on a nice summers day. Great selection of cocktails and friendly staff. Food here isn't too bad either!
This is a nice place for food and drinks especially if part of a group as it's not too pricey. Their cocktails are amazing and they have so much choice. The staff are also very friendly.
The chilli fries here are delicious. They are serious comfort food!! I've also had the BBQ chicken wrap. The food is nice. It's cool that the venue is an old church. The outdoor area is huge too, so it's nice on a summers day. It's cheap, cheerful and a nice spot to grab a quick bite.
Imagine to have a burger and your favourite pint in a church. Well first time I stepped in was impressed by the place, incredible! Too busy for me but weather permitting outside is my best spot! Love the buffalo chicken wings as well as the atmosphere. Highly recommended
I was pleasantly surprised. Chicken wings were tender and juicy, immensity sweet potato chips portion, plus affordable prices. Also, you will get 10% discount if you'll check in on Facebook. Apart of goodies, service was bit slow due to the amount of the people. Few more waitress/st supports Irish jobs and lend to the happy customers :-)
What a nice place do drink a pint of beer. The space is huge, so you can drink in ground floor and have a nice meal in first floor. The heated esplanada is very nice to smoke a cigarette in cold days. The bathroom is quite far, so you have to walk a bit to get there.
In conclusion, a nice original place to chat, drink and eat, despite be a bit expensive.
This place is always buzzing. Love going here for a glass of wine and sitting outside underneath the heaters enjoying the atmosphere. Also the steak sandwich is amazing.
Had the steak sandwich here yesterday. Very tasty . The service was also very good and the seating was comfortable . I would definitely return in the future
I visited the church last week with a couple of friends for dinner. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly hostess who guided us into this long, well maintained historical building. The design of this restaurant is an artwork itself, it has a modern interior however it still posses many of the typical church features. I ordered the steak sandwich and my friends both ordered the duck salad. The service was very quick and it wasn't long before our food arrived. The smell of my steak sandwich alone was heavenly never mind the taste. The duck salads also looked rather appetising! A lovely meal had by all!
