I am not sure why this restaurant is not getting 5 stars but I can tell you this evening my guests and I had a beautiful fine dining experience. When we first arrived we were greeted by a very friendly & polite young lady at the check in. She walked us to the 2nd floor dining room. The room was elegantly decorated with dimmed lighting and amazing fresh flowers. So warm & cozy on a rainy Irish night & very romantic 💕I ordered the smoked salmon appetizer and black sole for entree. Everything was outstanding. All my guest truly enjoyed there meals. The deserts were fabulous and excellent wine list. The restaurant is not overly expensive. They have a wonderful 3 coarse menu for €30. Not bad at all for this part of town & quality of the food. Let me not forget our lovely waitress from Brazil. Such a sweet and friendly young lady and very professional. I will definitely return on my next visit to Dublin.

Great location, wonderful decor, the best breakfast! They seemed to have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. If you have trouble with stairs, ask for a room on a lower floor, as lift only goes to second floor.

My friend recommended the Cliff Townhouse for our dinner. We both really enjoyed it. We both had fish and chips for our main course and we loved it. I asked for ice cream for dessert and the salted caramel and Tonka. The only criticism I thought there could be a few more choices from the dessert menu. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Will dine at the Cliff Townhouse when I next visit Dublin

We had an amazing meal there last night to celebrate our first anniversary. The grilled oysters were the winner, beautifully cooked and full of flavour. The staff were brilliant - very attentive but not intrusive. Hope to visit again soon.
