Had the pleasure of having food there. We went for the early bird which is three courses for €25. There were eight of us in total. I have to say the food was absolutely gorgeous. I found the staff from the barman to the waitresses to be extremely polite and very helpful. The place was absolutely packed and they still managed to go around making sure everything was okay. It was a lovely meal and we certainly would be returning again.
I had my 40th Birthday party last night and it was perfect, the room, the staff and the food.
I simply highly recommend this place🙋🏾
Just had my Mam’s 40th birthday drinks here in the upstairs room and had a brilliant time! Niall was lovely and went above and beyond with the special treatment we had a ball, from the music to the drinks to the food.. top marks all around
Food is amazing and the serving staff are so attentive would definitely recommend this restaurant
Lovely atmosphere, great food, I had the burger. Really friendly and relaxed. Staff were appropriately attentive and very happy to help. A really top notch dining experience. BTW, the place was lovely and clean . Will go back, maybe tomorrow, maybe my next trip. But I will be back! Xx
Had a lovely meal at The Bridge yesterday evening. Staff were very friendly, food was gorgeous and place is lovely :)
Food was awesome - best burger around! And great G&T list and expertise! Will be back a lot!!
Loved the atmosphere and friendly staff. Food and cocktails are delicious. Highly recommend The Bridge 1859.
My favorite bar in Ireland. Very chill atmosphere with great food and drinks.
The best fish’nchip ever!!👍🏻
Holy smoke look at that cheese ! Some juice in that and that sauce was used as a great dip dip. You are guaranteed to leave this place wanting more but you got to know when enough is enough. See you next weekend.
Nice place to be in and have few drinks. I have been to this place 3 times, nice atmosphere, nice staff and nice food.
Center of attraction is walls of this place.
I've been here a few times for drinks and it is a great spot. Good atmosphere too. We had a very chilled lunch here during the week. I had the wings which were lovely, they had a teriyaki twist which was really different, plus a side of fries. He had the chowder which went down a treat. Very reasonably priced too!
The bridge is a great spot in the middle of ballsbridge. Iv had a couple of drinks here in the past with friends and the place is always buzzing but decided to go for their weekend brunch in Sunday and enjoyed it! The menu is relatively small but it includes the usual brunch options and the roast of the day which is nice too. I went for the pulled pork flatbread and chips while my mum and granny got the roast of the day which was bacon and cabbage, we also got a round of drinks including a latte, Diet Coke and glass of white wine. The meal was reasonably priced coming in at 50 euro which wasn't bad. The service was good too but it wasn't that busy. My meal was lovely- there was fresh shredded salad with the pulled pork which was really tender! The roast looked lovely but my mum did note that it wasn't piping hot. Definitely worth a visit!
The Bridge, Ballsbridge.
Believing myself to be running out of Dublin brunch options a few weeks back, I began a fresh attempt at research in a fog of panic.... well, I needn't have worried as there are still plenty of highly recommended places that I have yet to get my gob into!- The Bridge in Ballsbridge being one of them.
I assumed this establishment to be your standard restaurant so, was quite surprised to walk in & find it to be a pub that just happens to serve food.... delicious food at that.
Sean made a rare venture away from his standard eggs Benny choice, opting for a full Irish instead- I'm usually of the opinion that a dish like that can only be mediocre but he vehemently disagreed, claiming it to be fantastic (I'm sure his side order of Hollandaise helped him come to that conclusion! In fairness, it was the nicest Hollandaise I have EVER tasted)
I went for a the less guilty choice of savoury pancake stuffed with smoked cheddar, quinoa & all types of deliciousness... it was cooked to perfection & made a welcome change from the usual heavier brunch options. This is the perfect spot if you're looking for a less traditional approach to brunching.
The Bridge is in such a great location, it's always jammers too! My favourite thing to get would have to be the brownie, best in Dublin! The burgers look great I'll be getting one on my next visit
Absolutely love it here, great atmosphere on match days and the food is great. If your getting drinks I would highly recommend their gin and tonics!
I had a delicious steak sandwich here with the onion relish, mustard Mayo, cheddar cheese and mixed leaves on warm ciabatta bread. I didn't think the lunch menu had a great variety of choice but I chose well! I'd like to return another time to try something off the evening menu. It's a very cosy, chilled out bar with good service and atmosphere!
I was here on a Tuesday night and I have to say, I was very impressed. The place was extremely busy for mid-week day and there was a great atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and didn't rush the group when making our order. We were only there for drinks but I was eyeing up the food as it made its way out of the kitchen and all of it looked delicious. I will most definitely be back to try something off the food menu. Great spot in Ballsbridge.
Been here a lot as its close to where my boyfriend lives. The last time I ate they were only serving brunch which was annoying because l really like their lunch menu. That aside the dinner menu is lovely and really good value, Id recommend their fish dish, the burger and the chicken wings. The place can get a bit cramped as its become so popular although I see they're seeking planning permission to extend into next door so hopefully that will be rectified soon.
This bar has been a tremendous success in its first year having been open. the comparison between it and what bellemys use to be is remarkable. It pulls in massive crowds not just on match day. The fact that both young and old people like this bar and feel comfortable eating or dining here I think has been key to its success.
The Bridge is one of the best new pubs in Dublin. First off, they're the only pub in Dublin to stock Pilsner Urquel Tankovna, an unpasteurised, unfiltered variant of Pilsner Urquel that's much closer to what the Czechs drink. They also do some of the best pulled pork in Dublin. I thought the pulled pork golden age was closing out in Dublin, but judging by the amount of Pulled Pork sandwiches I saw when I was in there, I was entirely wrong. The decor is pretty weird, kinda like it's a steampunk nightclub/pub hybrid with pictures of what must be the rugby players who own the place as kids adorning the walls. Big fan of this place, and definitely worth a look.
