One of my two best experience in Dublin. I loved the fact that we sat by the bar watching the cooking staff preparing the food. You experience the whole cooking chain from order to deliver and I really much appreciate it.
The food is very creative and tasty. I don't have a sweet tooth and usually I dont mind the desert but for once, the desert is what blew my mind. I had the green tea brûlée - it taste so much of matcha tea and the yuzu sorbet OH MY GOOODNESSSS!!! I wish I could buy some to take home!! My fiancé had the chocolate desert and it was so SOO good, not too sweet, very light and the cookie just perfect. I really enjoyed my diner form start to finish.
Just a remark: we had a cocktail with our menu. When we saw the cocktail list we decided to have it at the end of the meal at the bar. It looked so untraditional. Unfortunately, the bar does not have the same menu so I could not taste the cocktail I had in mind.
The bar is loud, not the place I would go for a drink yet the staff is lovely.
The last Time I came to Dublin was last December for my GF's Birthday and we went to One Pico. This time I had to choose something different and came across Taste at Rustic whilst searching. Saw all the reviews online and decided yes, this is the place to go. All I can say is the place is fabulously decorated, the Bonsai Bar has style and the restaurant oozes class. The staff were charming and excelled, especially as we had not really been to a Japanese fusion restaurant before and didn't really understand the choices in the menu and they explained them for us. The best thing to say is as good as the meal was at One Pico, this was better than that, and would go again in a heartbeat. Thank you for the experience.
WOW it has to be one of the best restaurants I have eaten in I had the tasting menu everything was just fantastic well even better than fantastic amazing and the service by the staff was over and above �%
Honestly one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. As soon as we walked through the door our waiter was incredible he made fabulous suggestions and had us smiling throughout the entire evening. We were the last couple in the restaurant and struggled to leave. Highly recommend this place... it's worth every penny!
Great meal again in Taste last night with friends. Really enjoyed the seabream and crab pot. The scallops to start were divine if a little small in terms of portion, but probably good for the waistline. Loved my elderberry martini cocktail. Sushi was lovely also. My chocolate mousse with dark biscuits were really tasty - in fact a delivery of them right now would be great!
My wife & myself had dinner here last night 11/6/16.
We had some cocktails on arrival whisky sours, etc. the guy making the cocktails was really friendly Irish lad & looked happy to be doing his job and gave us tips on making our own!"
Excellent food. The best miso soup we have ever had, the ingredients are top quality. The presentation of each dish is of a very high standard. We had the lobster & beef with broth both exceptional. The servers too are really informative and have great knowledge of the food they are producing. A great team all of them.
We will be back again.
Phenomenal, service is great, the chef works like the composer of a symphony...I say get any dish. Literally. And you should not be disappointed. Thank you for the amazing meal!
I just had my anniversary dinner here and everything was SO EFFING GOOD this is now my favourite restaurant in the world. My husband is probably annoyed because I can't stop talking about my meal and drinks. The matcha/absinthe/egg white magic concoction I had 2 of tonight was insane. Whatever the little taster thing brought out in light crispy dough cones with tuna and avocado was so perfect I stole my husband's. I could have had 20 of those. I'll be back probably tomorrow. Great staff as well! Everything he recommended was right up my alley and freaking fantastic. Green tea brulee dessert I was too full to eat but ended up finishing about 90% of it. I'm not even a dessert person. Love everything about this place. Bonus points for obscure Daft Punk remixes from the Discovery album. Who didn't like that album???

Taste is the place that consistently delivers top class food and impeccable service. All elements are covered to the nth degree always. We have dined here on a few occasions and we always look forward to the next visit.
Be good to yourself, just book yourself in, be prepared to be blown away.
Top spot in Dublin to blow your senses away with incredibly well thought out dishes. Cannot recommend this place enough
Our second time there and it surpassed the first. Omakase is the way to go. Going to find it difficult to find a better restaurant. Absolutely worth it!
