Living in a neighbouring town I'm not a frequent visitor to Monica's pub. I was attending a meeting re a golf holiday. From the moment I opened the door and made eye contact with the bar attendant/owner she recognised me, not having seen me for a number of years. I was impressed by many things, particularly the cleanliness, homely atmosphere, heat, welcome and service. The glasses in the bar display units were sparkling like Christmas lights they were so shiny. I ordered a g & t and immediately was asked if I wanted ice and lemon which surprised me because It was extremely quiet. When the other holiday organisers arrived , it was tea, coffee, buiscuits and Madeira cake produced to all with a smile and chat. I will definately make an effort to frequent Monica's soon again and would highly recommend it to anybody. Thank you Monica
