People often complain about things on FB, well I want to say hats off and a big thank you to the team at Borzalino Restaurant in Drogheda. My son Donnacha has a serious dairy allergy. While manageable now it wasn't so easy when he was younger. Restaurant dining was hit and miss with us being a mere nuisance in some but others being very helpful and accommodating. As a result of incredible service, particularly around Donnacha's dietary needs, when we go out for dinner it is nearly always to Borzalinos. One day when he had a reaction and vomited, the staff immediately got Donnacha a change of clothes and helped us clean him up so we could continue our meal. The chefs have always tried things out specially for him too. Low and behold for Donnacha's confirmation dinner today he wanted to go to Borzalinos. When we arrived today - Maggie - was shocked that the wee Donncha who she has watched grow up in the restaurant was making his confirmation. As per usual the service and food was excellent but to round it off they handed Donnacha a Confirmation card with a nice gift also. Now that is one place that knows how to look after its customers. To Filomena, Maggie and the rest of the staff I just want to say a big thank you for everything. We'll be back very soon !
