We went for dinner in the Orangery to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had our wedding at Lyons 3 YEARS ago.
Our dinner was wonderful. The food was absolutely wonderful. The choice on the menu was really interesting. The choice of wine was great and the wine we chose was perfect for our meal. The staff were very polite and friendly. We were treated as though we were special guests.
Even though there was a wedding on in the venue the restaurant was was very calm and ambiance just right.
The meal was expensive but we thought it was worth it. We were clearly eating and drinking quality products.

We were here for our sisters wedding on Monday and had an amazing time. The place is beautiful and full of character, food is fantastic and the staff really made the whole experience very special, they couldn’t do enough for us. Would highly recommend!
The most amazing venue ... I got married here last year and have to say it's a magical unique place . I have visited few times since for our Anniversary and also got to sample your fab afternoon tea which I would highly recommend people to try .. But today was a whole new wonderful experience in the new Well in the garden spa .. Laura and Niamh are an asset to your hotel . So friendly and welcoming and also amazing at what they do . My mother and I both really enjoyed our full body massage and all the little extra treats that I've never had from a spa experience before . The relaxation room is stunning to say the least .. The whole spa experience was 5 star and I can't wait to return already ... Best wishes for the future with the amazing spa ...
We stayed in your fabulous 2 bedroom cottage, the poets cottage if I recall on the 11th November for my birthday . I have to say I've never seen a place quite like it. So unique, homely, beautiful tranquil.. I could say everything wonderful but you really need to see to believe how truly beautiful Cliff at Lyons is. The staff, the ambiance, the food, the beauty of the place. We just cannot wait to return . Thank you so much Dawn & Peter
Top class venue with immaculately kept grounds. We had food in the casual dining restaurant Trellis and it was excellent. I couldn't recommend The Cliff at Lyons enough.

My sisters and I went for afternoon tea in the orangery yesterday. It's was amazing. We were made feel so welcome and Robert was our waiter who was attentive and professional. The food was fantastic. A beautiful display and selection of goodies. The chef came out to check if we were happy with everything and we were. Unlimited tea and coffee so the whole afternoon was a luxurious experience and we didn't leave until 4pm and at no time felt rushed. We will definitely be back to do it all again. I urge everyone to book for the afternoon tea. It was wonderful and we will definitely return. Thank you so much.

The staff is very welcoming, the room is big, the food in the restaurant was very good. The breakfast was amazing . The bar is cosy .

I couldn't speak highly enough about this amazing Hotel Cliff at Lyons .Another wonderful hidden gem in our beautiful Isle. From the moment we stepped into reception ,greeted my the beautiful Florian & Aoife to the time we checked out .We had the most Wonderful time . What makes this Hotel a step above others ,is the Staff .All of them who work tirelessly from the Orangery ,Mill House & Household Staff taking time to cater for everything we needed.Making our break so special ,one we can't forget.Return visit planned with treatments at The Well Spa. Thanking Irene & Ladies who kindly demonstrated their wonderful products today.Location was perfect, peaceful setting & time to cycle along the Canal .
Beautiful, tranquil, French countryside feel to the Cliff at Lyons. Delicious food and very attentive, friendly staff. We loved our room and the surrounding gardens with the beautiful lily pond. What a special place. We hope to be back soon! :)

We went in for Sunday Lunch in the Mills.
I must say food is out of this world. I had goats cheese starter, Hake as a main course and truffle cake as a dessert.
Every single one of these dishes were extraordinary.
Chefs have their own gardens here, so you can feel real freshness and taste in every bite.
It was group of four and all of us commented how fantastic food was.
Grounds are simply stunning and were were served by young girl, with blonde hair and ponytail (apologies for not knowing her name). She was absolutely wonderful,m so friendly, efficient and professional.
Definitely, an experience not to be missed.
We were at a friends wedding and this is without doubt the most beautiful place I have ever stayed, with the whole gardens water features plus the beautiful cottages and rooms made it all the more pleasant.. the staff were friendly and the food was amazing...
10yr Wedding Anniversary, kid free morning, so we headed for a drive to find somewhere nice for Breakfast. If you want to go somewhere extra special "Cliff at Lyons" is So beautiful. We had the place to ourselves, food was exceptional, we had the "Breakfast experience" and everyone made us feel so relaxed. 5stars
We ate in the Orangery it was beautiful. The staff were attentive the food was excellent. I would love to go back and see more of the water mill but there was a wedding party on. Love this place.
My brother got married here last weekend and its a truly stunning venue. The staff are excellent and the food sublime. If you get a chance to stay here I recommend that you take it!
